Chapter 6 of Deltarune has yet to be released. Like Chapter 5, it will be a free update for those who have already bought the game prior to its release.[1] There has currently been little to no information given about this chapter. It’s implied by Toby that this will be where the chapter where everything becomes super serious.

Development

Currently as of now, no information about Chapter 6 has been announced from Toby Fox. However, development began on March 16, 2026,[2] with one developer having already started work on the bullet patterns for the chapter,[3] and multiple development team members have shifted their focus from Chapter 5 to Chapter 6 now.[4]

In the Chapter 5 Release Date Newsletter,[5] Toby revealed that development for Chapter 6 was "developing well," as this chapter will be easier than the others. so development would be quick. He also stated that some of the team may start working on Chapter 7 before the end of the year.[6]
