Description

This Song plays at the Beginning of the Game, after Kris and Toriel Leave the house to go to school. During the Unskippable Cutscene in which this song plays through, we see several characters waving at the Car, Presumably to Kris and Toriel. The Song plays through the following areas in the cutscene:

• Outside the Dreemurr Residence
• The scene below Featuring the Ornate Gates to the Holiday Residence,
• Catti's house
• A glimpse of the Hospital
• The "Librarby"
• The School Exterior
• And Finishing in the School Interior

Lore Significance

Beginning, being our first look into the world of DELTARUNE's motifs, offers us the view that it is not, as many say, a "sequel", a "prequel" or a "follow-up", but an alternative timeline to UNDERTALE.

Trivia

Beginning is the only version of Don't Forget that can be played on the piano in UNDERTALE.
